- [Instructor] Adding calculations to provide perspective…on your data makes any report more powerful.…We have the product price list open here in report view,…and we're seeing the layouts just fine.…We have the product name and number, the size, the color.…We have pricing costs stacked,…so it's gonna be easy for us to calculate the net…'cause we're gonna be deducting cost from price…to get our margin on our prices…versus what we're paying for the product ourselves.…Then we have the vendors listed in a box…that allows for them to wrap when there's…multiple vendors of the given product.…
So what we're gonna do is add a net for each product,…and then we're gonna put a count of the number…of products we sell up here in the header.…I gotta switch over to design view,…and there's already plenty of space here for the header…that's gonna indicate that that's the net.…Actually, I'm gonna put that down here, I think.…I don't need to put anything up there.…I can move this up, which is gonna save us some space.…
