- [Instructor] When you're working with related data stored in two tables, you often need to view that data on the same form, and subforms are a convenient tool for doing this. Access provides several ways to help you create them quickly. In this video, I'll be demonstrating how to insert a subform using a drag and drop method, but a better way to insert a subform is to use the Subforms Wizard. Let's go ahead and take a look at our database, 05_03 SubForms. We have a couple of forms that we want to work with, and I actually want to combine one of them. We have our Customers form, which has all of our contact information for our customers, and then we have our Q1 2016 Internet Orders. Wouldn't it be nice if we could view the customer information at the top of the form, and the order information for that customer down below? Let me show you how easy it is to set that up.
