- [Narrator] Now, we're going to talk a little bit more about mixing. There are many courses in the Linda library that cover mixing extensively. In this course, I'm just going to show you a few tips that you can use in your projects that are common in many styles of electronic music, and they kind of revolve around EQ, and compression, two effects that are very commonly used to really sculpt your mix. Again, the mix is the sort of final stage of the process, where we are making room in terms of frequency, for all of the sounds in our mix, in addition to adjusting things like levels and panning, which you saw me do earlier in this course, using Push. I'm going to go in, and I'm going to solo this drum track, and let's play the drum track here. (electronic drum beat) Then, I'm just going to expand it by clicking this arrow. You can see we have our different tracks playing. One of the things, again, that I love about drum racks is that all of our drums are already on separate channels…
