- [Voiceover] Now that we have this alternate take of…this vocal sampled line,…let's check out some MIDI Effects.…I think I'm going to want to start arranging…this track a bit to our new version.…For this project, I'm actually going to even…delete our original one so we just have…the new vocal line that we created…and I'm still going to leave that…call and response answer,…but you can see we have these 17 bars.…Let's listen again.…(electronic music)…Okay, cool.…
What I want to do now, I'm just going to bring this in.…I'm going to hit option drag…just to copy this over.…Just so everything's lined up here.…Now let's go and I'm going to copy…all the other sounds but the vocal…and then I can hit Command D to duplicate…for another 17 measures.…I want to make a B section now.…I'm also going to use our original vocal,…but I want to do that with some effects.…What I'm going to do is duplicate…this vocal track by hitting Command D.…
I'm going to delete the MIDI information that's on it,…but remember we still have our vocal sample in there.…

He also goes into how to create and use samples and MIDI effects, and use Push 2 for production and mixing. He pulls it all together in the final few chapters, which demonstrate ways to arrange tracks, use creative effects, mix tracks together, and use automation to finalize the mix.
