[Instructor] While an entire project can be created using just MIDI clips and software instruments, it's likely that you'll also want to record audio into your Ableton Live projects. So let's take a look at how you record audio in Session View. So I've got a default set open, and like we've done in past videos, let's check our audio file settings before we start recording. So I'm going to press cmd + , and that would be Ctrl + , on a PC to go into preferences, and I'll go to the audio tab where I can set my sample rate and my buffer size. Remember, when you're recording, you're going to want to set that to a lower value, probably below 256 samples, and later, when we move to edit or mix this project, you can bump that back up to the 1024 or 2048 sample setting. Then I'll drop down and I'll click my Record Warp Launch tab where I can set my file type and bit depth. Remember, these settings are for the audio that we're recording into the set.
