Creating a processed EP sound

- It was in late 1983, early 1984, the first time I heard a DX7, and I was astounded at the Rhodes electric piano sound that could be created using an FM synth. So let's take a look at how you can create an electric piano preset using Operator, and some fun ways to process that type of a sound. To start off with, I'll just point out that the algorithm that I've chosen here is number eight, we count from the left, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, and the reason that I did that is because it has two stacks, so I've got two carriers, which in this case are going to be A and C, with then B and D acting as modulators, and I've done that because I want to have one stack giving one part of the sound and the other stack doing the other part of the sound. So to demonstrate that, I'll start by disabling oscillator C, when I do that I won't hear any of the sound coming from C or D, because C is the carrier.
