Creating custom drum racks for your samples

- [Instructor] Programming drums in Ableton Live can be even more powerful. Especially if you're working with your own samples. You can use Drum Racks to create custom kits, so that you can easily access your samples at the turn of a knob. I'll show you how to do that now. Let's go into our Browser, and we're gonna go to Drums, and I'm gonna take an empty Drum Rack and drag it right onto a MIDI track. Now, this is a little bit more of an advanced technique, but I promise if you stay with me you'll be using this one a lot. Now, let's go down to Instruments, and I'm going to take a Sampler instrument, and drag it onto this empty cell, C1. (mouse clicking) I'm gonna repeat this one a few more times. Let's do this four times for now. (mouse clicking) So now we have our Drum Rack, and we've dragged a few sampler instruments into these empty cells. I'm gonna go back to C1, and now let's click on Zone. Now you can see we have our keyboard in the Zones, and that's for setting up samples much…
