- [Instructor] One unique thing that Live offers that I find useful is how you can group virtual instruments, MIDI effects, and or audio effects in any combination. This not only let's you save multiple plugins as a preset or template, but also allows series and parallel signal routing. Let's start by taking a look at audio racks. So let's go ahead and open up exercise one from chapter 13, and lets talk about a couple of different scenarios where you might create or use audio racks. I've got a kick track here, and I've got a clip on that, and I want to process that with a little bit of EQ and a little bit of compression. So let me grab an EQ eight here, and I'll put that on the track. And let's play the clip. I'm just going to quickly adjust this EQ.
