Renaming fields
- [Instructor] Once you set up your data connections in Quick-Site, you can now transform them into useful data tables to load into your analysis to create visualizations. A data table is a grid containing rows and columns. Here's an example of a weather data table. But how do we read it? Each row is a record that tells us the date, location, precipitation, and average daily temperature. Putting all these records together creates the rows in a data table. But what if we want to determine the average rainfall across all these records? To calculate this, we refer to the fields or the columns and the data table to tell us the values associated with the table records for each field. In this table the values in each record are unique, but they don't have to be. In Quick-Site on our data set homepage, let's navigate first to our 2020 California Weather data set.
