Drilling down into visuals
- [Instructor] When you create visualizations, it's very difficult to get a high level and a detailed look at the data at the same time. The drill down capability enables you to drill through geographical and date hierarchies in a single visual. There are limitations to the number of data points that appear in visuals. You can show up to 2,500 data points on an axis for visuals without groups or colors. If they do use groups or colors, they can show up to 50 data points on the axis and up to 50 data points for the groups or colors. In QuickSight, let's start by navigating to our map visual containing the precipitation by location on a map. You can zoom into the map to see more details, such as the city names and more details on the actual physical geography. Next, let's add a new sheet to our analysis.
