- [Instructor] Now let's see how we install IIS on a Windows Server. And in order for us to do that, we need to start Server Manager. And in Server Manager, we have Add roles and features. Now we start by actually choosing the type of installation. We are choosing that we want to have a role-based or feature-based installation. And then we move next to select a server. So I want to do that on my current server here. And then I need to choose the roles. The roles I would choose would be the web server IIS. And that automatically would add the IIS Management Console because I would want to be able to manage IIS Server once it is installed. Then I move next to the features that I want to be enabled. And one of the features that I will need would be ASP.NET 4.6. The next step would be to choose the role services that are necessary.
