Deploying an application on Windows Vista

Once you have installed Internet Information Services and configured the .NET Framework you are ready to deploy your site. For this demonstration I'll use the folder TheNightOwl, which contains a set of Web site files. I'll copy that folder to the Clipboard and then go to the Desktop and paste the folder there. You can place your website files anywhere on disk. In a normal Web site deployment I wouldn't place these files on the Desktop, but I'm doing it here just for easy visibility. Now the next step is to go in to the Internet Information Services Management console.

The easiest way to get to run Windows Vista is to go to the Start menu and then Search input start typing Internet Information and you will see the Internet Information Services Management application appear.
