- [Teacher] Before we start this course, let us talk about a couple of things that you need to know to build our web application. I'm going to use Visual Studio 2017 Community edition, but you can also use any version of 2017 or later. We are going to work with a .NET Core Web API app, so having previous experience with the Web API framework is recommended, but it is not required in any way. Throughout this course, if you would like to follow along while I'm coding, you can download the exercise files on the course page.
