What are custom functions? - 5D Tutorial
From the course: Canon 5D Mark III Essential Training
What are custom functions?
By now you've probably come to realize that your camera has a lot of functions and features. Many of these functions can be modified and customized through the use of custom functions. For example, maybe you'd prefer your exposure compensation changes to go in full stop increments instead of one third stop increments, or maybe you want to change the behavior of the auto bracketing feature. These are things you can easily change through the use of custom functions, allowing you to tailor your camera to your particular taste. Custom functions are not available in Auto mode. You'll need to be in Program, or a priority, or manual mode to get to the custom functions menu.
