Exploring the Live View shooting area display

If you change the aspect ratio on your Mark III to something like 4:3, or 16:9, you can change how that aspect ratio is masked off when working in live view by altering the LV shooting area display custom function, which is located on page two of the custom function tab. Basically, I've got two options: Masked, which completely masks the edge of the frame, or simply Outlined, which just shows me a line where the edge of the frame would be. The advantage of Outlined is I can still see things in that part of the frame, so if I'm wanting to keep track of things that are off camera, or about to move into camera, I can still see those things. Masked makes it a little bit easier to visualize exactly what the final frame looked like.
