- [Instructor] The start scene for our first wire parameter example should be a fairly familiar sight at this point assuming you have worked all the way through the course with me that is, although in this particular instance, if I just drag the time slider to frame 29 and select the handle geometry, we can grab the rotate tool making sure that we are working with it in gimble mode, rotate around the Y axes and see that nothing at all is actually connected. So, whilst the handle does rotate, the latch simply sits there and does nothing. As promised then, what we want to do in this exercise is have the rotation of the door handle geometry pull the latch back into the door just as it would in the real world. And what we need to firmly establish from the start then are the axes around which we will want our objects to transform, so for the handle geometry, we have already established that we need the rotation to occur around the Y axes. Switching over to the move tool though and again…
