Create a realistic wood texture, complete with grain, knots, and whorls, with Photoshop, and apply it to a scene in 3ds Max.
- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Adam Crespi and welcome to Creating Textures, Drawing Wood Grain and Wood Planks. In this course, we'll look at how to draw a large sample of wood in Photoshop. Starting with grain and then adding in color variation, knots, whirls, loops, and value variation. We'll see how to create a wood plank floor and then to antique the wood and apply it to furniture. We'll also look at the wood applied in a scene in 3DS Max and implement diffuse, specular, and normal maps into the wood floor and in the scene.
We'll be covering all these features plus plenty of other tools and techniques. Now, let's get started with Creating Textures Drawing Wood Grain and Wood Planks.
