Using the substance with V-Ray

- Inside, 3ds Max, then, we are ready to bring, our newly exported, substance, into the scene, and then take a look, at how it renders with V-Ray. After jumping into the Floor tab, in the Material Editor then, let's go ahead and drag out a new, Substance2 Node. Now in the days before the Substance to 3ds Max plugin that we are using here, we would typically have, imported our substance into Max, added an appropriate material to the workspace, and then connected everything up, using the outputs, on the substance, and the inputs, on the material. Much of which, is no longer necessary. Because, with the setup that we have now, all we need do, is load the flooring dot sbsar file, that we exported from, Substance Designer, in the last exercise, into the waiting Substance2 Node, and then with the Substance Node selected come to the Substance menu, and choose, in this instance, either the Substance To V-Ray, or Substance To Physical Material options, as you have already seen me do.
