- In this video, I'll show you how to use the…paint deform tool set…to model a landscape.…Open the tiny house example file,…which I made in another course in the library.…We will use this model to give us a sense of scale…and we will make a landscape…and place this tiny house on it.…So let's go ahead and press T for the top view.…And then Z to zoom out.…Roll the mouse wheel back, to zoom out even more.…Let's create a plain object.…More or less around the tiny house.…
Let's just adjust the size over here,…to 150 Feet, TAB, 150 feet.…I'm going to increase the number of segments…to 100 in each direction.…That'll give us 20,000 faces to deal with.…I'll press F4 to show you edged faces mode.…So you have a sense of the density of the object.…I'll press F4 again, and then P for perspective…and then let's arc rotate, and take a look at…the future landscape, which is now flat as a pancake.…
Go over to the Modify panel,…and right click in the modifier stack…and choose Editable Poly.…You need to have an editable poly…before the paint deform tools will appear here…
