- [Instructor] Now that we have our geometry separated, we can start the UV mapping process. Now this is going to be a little bit different for each section of the house, but let's go ahead and just break this apart into basic UV mapping, and then we'll adjust the mapping later. So I'm going to start again with this really simple center portion of the building. Now, we create a UV map by doing an Unwrap UVW, so if we go into Modifiers, you can see under UV Coordinates, we have Unwrap UVW. And if you go into our modify panel, we can scroll down and find it as well. So I'm going to go ahead and apply the modifier, and then this modifier essentially allows you to control how the UV mapping is applied. And the easiest way to work this is to just use the UV Editor, so if you scroll down under Edit UVs, you should have Open UV Editor. And when I do that, it basically brings up this window here.
