Setting brush options
- In addition to the paint options, to control the size and strength of the brush, we also have a window that lets us control the actual shape of the brush. Let's take a look, I'll select the terrain object, and in the freeform tab of the modeling ribbon, active push/pull, I've got a size of 80, strength of one and offset of ten. Go into the paint options, and activate brush options. And this opens up a window that's kind of antique but it gives us the ability to change the actual brush shape. To demonstrate, I'll drag in place to create a default brush shape. You can't just hold the mouse down, you have to actually click and drag and keep the mouse moving, in order to sort of draw in place. And we can see that it resembles the S curve seen here. So that's our brush profile, that's the center of the brush and the edge of the brush. And there are some presets down here, we can try linear preset. And it's hard to see with the grid lines here but, we have a curve that has a constant…
