Rendering standard lights

- [Voiceover] If you do opt to use the scanline renderer, then you might choose to use standard lights. So far in the course, we've only used photometric lights. The standard lights are available, they are simpler, they do have one consideration though, it is that you really probably do want to have gamma correction disabled when rendering standard lights. Let's illustrate. I'll create a standard light. Go to the Create panel, go to Lights, and then from the pull-down list where it says "Photometric", choose "Standard". And I'll create a target spotlight here to shine onto my Schlumbergera cactus, target spot, and in the front viewport, click and hold down the mouse and drag, and then release, and I've created the light edit's target. Right-click to exit out of that tool, and then we can just focus that light going over to the top view. Grab the Move tool, and then click on the light itself, and then just move it a little bit. We can adjust the softness of the light using its falloff…
