Record animation
- [Instructor] Another way to create animation using Timeline is to record it interactively. And this is a great way to do interactive animation in Unity. So let's take a look at how this works. I'm going to go to my Timeline and let's make sure we have our Timeline object selected here. And now I have my garage door track and I've emptied it out. So if you still have some stuff in there, go ahead and just delete it for now. Now I'm going to create another track here. So I'm going to go ahead and do Add New Tracks. And we're going to do Add an Animation Track. And in this case we're going to click on the button here and we're going to select the vehicle. Double click on that. So now I've got the vehicle in the scene. Now one of the nice things about Timeline is it does let you record animation on the fly. So all I have to do is press this button here. And now it's recording animation. So anything I do to this car will be recorded. So if I were to say pull this car back, you can see…
