Projecting UVs with UVW Map

- [Narrator] In the previous movie, we saw the basics of how to control the scaling of a map using the UV parameters and the materials shading network. However, we also need to control UV parameters in the space of the object itself. And each object has its own UV coordinate space, and just because we've set up the size of something in the material editor, does not necessarily mean it's going to be the right size in our 3D scene. So for example, in this version of the scene, I've got the floor here, and it just has default mapping coordinates. It started out as a line, and I extruded it, and I just enabled generate mapping coordinates, and now we've got, like I said, default coordinates. But we want to be able to specify the scale of a map and it's placement on the surface. We do that with a UVW map modifier. With that object selected in the modified panel, go to the modifier list, scroll down, and add a UVW map…
