Organize geometry for UV mapping
- Now before we dive into materials, we will need to UV map our structure. Now this will allow us to have materials that don't overlap and that are the proper scale. Now before we do this, we will need to message our geometry just a little bit before we UV map it. Now the geometry I'm most concerned with is this main structure. Now if we open up our layers window here, I'm going to go ahead and turn off some of the other layers. So I'm going to turn off our windows. In fact, I'm going to to turn off everything but walls exterior. And this has two objects here. It has this garage wall, which is a separate object, and then it has all the walls for the structure itself. Now, this gets a little complex. Now this space ex structure really consists of three sections we have our bedroom wing, we have this center section with the office, and we also have our main part of the house.
