Exporting the Revit model

- [Instructor] When your model is ready in Revit, it's time to export out to 3ds Max. And there's several different ways to do this. They all have their advantages and disadvantages, and I'll take a look at some of the common things available. We'll choose File and under File we've got Export and Suite Workflow. Now Suite Workflow, and this is fairly new here, allows you to export out to 3ds Max Design for interior exterior renderings. The advantage on this is it's a one click out there, and ability to get a rendering quickly. The big deal is really saying, where does the design flexibility come in, and how do objects break up or not? We want things to come in properly, and we realize that they may need some editing in 3ds Max to behave correctly. Also if we're going out to a real time simulation, we may want things put together differently than if we want a rendering. I'll choose 3ds Max Design Exterior Rendering, and see what happens.
