- With the bevel modifier applied,…we can identify some issues here with our 3D type…that wouldn't have shown up in, for example,…the Illustrator document.…For example, we have some kerning issues here.…If we go in and take a look at this,…you will see that in some places, the type is crashing.…That wasn't happening in 2D, but now,…once we applied our bevel, we're seeing some issues here.…Well, this one is really easy for us to fix…because each one of these letters is a curve or a spline…within the Editable Spline or line object.…
All we have to do is go to Editable Spline here,…and we can have Show end result turned on…so we can see this a little bit more clearly.…And then go into Spline Sub-Object mode and select.…Now for example, the D and the R here…are both made out of two splines each.…We've got an inner spline and an outer spline here.…Let's turn Show end result off for a second…so we can see that.…So there's an inner spline and an outer spline, okay?…So we just need to select the appropriate splines…and just move them over.…
