The Denoiser element
- [Narrator] Although we have already looked at a render element that can help us tweak the image sampling setup in our scenes, perhaps gaining of seconds or hopefully even minutes in the rendering out of high res frames, it is true that in today's fast-paced business world, the time to tweak and noodle every ounce of quality and speed out of our scenes isn't always there. Which is why, in this exercise, we're going to take a look at a render element that can oftentimes furnish us with an even greater reduction in overall render times. This being the denoiser element. Now, one thing that we didn't do in the previous exercise, in order to speed up our render times, was, of course, reduce the max number of samples Simply because this, more often than not, also results in a drop in quality for our renders. In fact, using the exact same scene let's open up the render setup dialog and, in the V-Ray tab, set the noise threshold value at 0.01. Let's then come to the render elements tab and…
