Cleaning up the scene
- [Instructor] With our CAD model imported, we'll need to do some housekeeping, and clean up the scene to prepare the model for visualization and possibly animation. Let's begin by investigating the scene hierarchy and the layers. Let's open up the scene explorer in the main toolbar. And we can dock that over onto the left side if we want. And we can see that this is a flat hierarchy. There are no parent-child links, because there are no indents here, we don't see any object indented below another one. There are no parent-child links in the scene currently. I'll close the scene explorer, and open up the layer explorer, and that appears by default at the bottom of the command panel. I'm going to drag that out into a floating window, or even better, dock it next to the command panel, and maybe expand it a little bit. And we can see that there is one layer, Drone_Asm_v001_1, but it's got a hierarchy, we've got a little arrow…
