Challenge: An exercise with a flour sack

(cymbals clang) - [Narrator] Combining the principles of slow in and out, arcs, and secondary action are what separate the amateurs from the professionals. While they're incredibly meticulous details, only the best of animators spend time implementing them. So as a challenge to you, let's see how much time and detail you can add to this little flour sack hopping forward. Now I've animated the gross movements for you and all you need to do is focus on animating the poses between the main key frames. He's kind of fluid right now, so you could use a little bit of love and copy pairs, he could use some follow-through and overlapping action, et cetera. Now I've animated it in Maya and I've also animated it in Blender. They're fairly similar animations, but like I said before, concentrate only on the overlapping action arcs, secondary holding poses, et cetera. Now I recommend you do not change any of the timing of the character. Feel free to adjust the key frames a little bit but don't…
