- In this video, we're going to explore…the differences between attaching and grouping.…Open the Apartment10 exercise file,…and let's zoom in down here by this custom window.…I'd like to make a table and chair,…and I'll start by going to the Extended Primitives…category here,…and make a ChamferBox.…ChamferBox is like a box,…except there's one more parameter,…and that is this Fillet parameter…that allows you to curve the edges.…
So, make one sort of like I did here, roughly,…and then go back over in the Parameters rollout…and highlight the Length and type 16,…press Tab, 16 again for Width.…Tab, height 1,…and the Fillet will be a small value.…Let's change this spinner, I'll…click and drag up or down here…to alter the spinner.…And I'm going to just…give a little bit of curveature…so it doesn't look so harsh,…let's say 1/8 of an inch.…
Okay, now I'm going to give this a different color,…let's say green.…And lets rename this object, Chair001.…So this is the seat of the chair,…I'm going to move that up…in the z direction to chair height,…
