- [Instructor] All right, so we're ready to begin actually making changes to our first scene. So this is the scene we'll be working on in this course, and in this video, we're going to focus on creating some asymmetry and imperfection in specific objects. One strategy that I like to use when I'm trying to create asymmetry in my objects is using soft selection. So soft selection will enable us to select a number of vertices or faces, and then there will be an area of influence around it, that will be slightly changed as well. So you can make sort of like a sculpting, but it's not exactly a sculpting. And I tend to use this a lot to just create little imperfections for all of my models. So I'll show you how this works, so enable the wide frame, using F4. And then the changes I'm going to make are basically, in the rug and in this couch here. So we're going to begin with the rug.
