- In this video, we're going to animate a camera…along a flight path.…Let's create the flight path itself by drawing in…a NURBS curve.…Click the point curve tool…and sketch in a path here along the walkway.…This is going to represent their trajectory…that the camera will take.…I'll click a few points here…and when I click the last two points, they're underneath…the landscape and you can see that under there.…I'm gonna have to move those up now…so I'm gonna go to the modify panel,…expand the NURBS curve and go to the point level.…
I'll move this one up in the blue direction…and then this one.…I need to arc rotate around to see that…and you'll wanna spend some time getting these points…in good locations.…I'm going to delete this point.…Ideally, you have nice smooth motion here…and that really just depends on the actual shape…that you create.…
Maybe I need to move this over a little bit as well.…Obviously, the shape that you create is gonna be…a little different, so this takes quite a bit of refinement…to get the flight path down correctly.…

8/5/2015In this course, author Scott Onstott shows you how to build walls, doors, windows, stairs, railings, moldings, cloth, pottery, furniture, grass, trees, landscapes, and much more, using splines, modifiers, Booleans, and NURBS modeling. You'll also learn to texture-map objects, light them with both direct and indirect illumination, place virtual cameras, render, and animate scenes.
