- [Instructor] In preparation for adjusting material parameters, let's set up an ActiveShade rendering. I'm going to first of all, turn off the fancy rendering settings in the perspective view just to lighten the load a little bit so that we don't have as much processor usage we need every bit that we can get for ActiveShade. I'm going to just switch the shading mode for the prospective view back over to standard. Just to save a little bit of screen real estate for the screen capture, I'm going to hide the command panel right-click on the textured bar and hide the command panel. Of course you can always get that back from the Customize menu, under Show UI or you can also right click on any other toolbar on the little textured bar there, and re-enable the command panel or any other toolbar. For accurate results in our active shade rendering, let's adjust the ray depth for the Arnold renderer. Go into the Render Setup dialog…
