- [Instructor] Last week, we saw how to improve the quality of preview animation renderings using the Per-View Preset options in the viewport renderer known as Nitrous. Here are the Per-View Presets. And I've got that all set up as I did last week. Click OK and my shading mode up here is listed as User Defined. Now we're ready to add some overlays to the preview renderings to give us some more information. We can easily burn the frame number and the camera name into the preview rendering. And using MAXScript, we can customize that information display to include important data such as the scene filename and the render resolution. Let's go into the Tools menu, to Preview - Grab Viewport, Create Preview Animation. And before I start messing around with the overlays here, I want to make sure I'm getting the results that I want from the rendering.
