- [George] Hi, I'm George Maestri and today we're going to take a look at the ART Renderer for 3ds Max. Now, the ART Renderer is a physically realist renderer that's incredibly easy to use. Now, the Renderer is also available for other Autodesk applications such as Revit and Inventor. Now, we're going to start off with just the basics of the renderer and how to set it up and control render quality. Then, we're going to dive into the physical material which is a new material for 3ds Max, and the material you should use for art.
After that, we'll take a look at lights. We're going to start with photometric lights, then we're going to create image-based lighting as well as environmental lighting. And finally, we're going to take a look at some camera effects such as depth of field and motion blur. So, let's go ahead and get started with the ART Renderer for 3ds Max.
