- [Instructor] In the previous movies, I've been showing you frames or drawings that you feel rather than see, and the classic way of using this to save a lot of work is to transition between two different strong poses using a single frame or a couple of frames called a wipe or a blur. Let's have a look at this first in black and white. And from here, bang, he slams back into that, and in color. There, again. So let's have a look in the black and white version. And there he goes. This is a smear, classically called a blur or a wipe, dry brush effect. There's various ways that animators would treat that, but it's a blur image or a multiple image. There's different phrases for it. Let's continue with the animation in color. Now we'll go through frame by frame. There's his little angry point and there you go.
