- [Instructor] Many times when we model we'll want to model organically and we can do that using soft selection and symmetry. So here I have a simple object and let's say I wanted to reshape this just a little bit while I could right click go into Vertex mode here and select some vertices but if I move those around, you'll see, we get very harsh and sharp edges and that's not organic at all. So if we want to model organically, we can use a soft fall-off so that way our selection is a little more organic. So I'm going to go ahead and just select a few of these vertices here and let's go ahead and double-click on the move tool and that brings up the settings for that particular tool. Now we want to go into soft selection which is this rollout here and if I turn this on, watch what happens. I get a fall-off of my selection.
