Understanding and using decals

- [Instructor] We're going to talk about decals. And if you don't know what decals are, in simple words, these are sort of stickers that you can drag and drop on top of surfaces in art to add some details or variation to the surfaces. Now, there are tons of different types of decals available that you can use. And I'm going to jump back into Unreal Engine and show you how you can use these decals with just drag and drop. So inside Unreal Engine, in my scene, I have already imported these decals. And when you import them, they will be placed under the Atlases category. Now, both atlases and decals, they will be put in the Atlases folder and I'm going to show you what atlases are and decals are, but for now we're going to just talk about decals. Now, for sake of this example, I am going to put in a concrete surface that I have imported just for an example. And I will drag and drop that here, on this structure, for now.…
