- [Instructor] Now let's take a look at some additional modeling tools. We're going to start off with quad draw which is a way to draw polygons on an existing surface. And this is great. If you have a high resolution model or point cloud or something like that and you want to simplify it and create geometry. So here I have a head and as you can see the geometry is pretty dense and we want to simplify that by drawing over it. And we can do that using what's called quad draw. Now, in order to use quad draw you have to make the surface live. So I'm going to select this object here and then go up here to all of our snap options. On the far right, is make selected object live. Let's go ahead and click on that. And then if I want to, I can turn on shading wireframe unshaded. And notice how it's kind of this green color. And that means that it's live. So let's go ahead and use quad draw. We find that under mesh tools, quad…
