- [Instructor] When it comes to lighting for virtual reality projects, there are a few tips and tricks you can take advantage of to make sure that your performance is best and that the project works and looks the best that it can look in regards to your lighting. So, let's take a look at a couple of these tips and ticks for lighting and virtual reality. One of the basic things we want to start with is keeping the overall number of lights within your scene low. Virtual reality, of course, really relies on performance. At the end of the day, we have to render two different cameras or two eyes left and right. So it is imperative that we keep the scene light and low in every aspect of the scene. From the number of meshes, the density of the meshes, number of textures, the resolution of those textures, but also these other physical areas here as well.
