In this video, learn how to get a newly modified .sbs material into Unreal Engine.
- [Instructor] What we are ready to do now … is use our published Substance file … inside the Unreal Engine … and see if the parameter that we exposed … in the previous exercise has actually worked, … and, because we have already downloaded … and installed the Substance plugin for Unreal, … we can get started right away. … With an Explorer window open … and focused on our modified .sbsar file, … let's quickly make sure … that we are also inside the Materials folder … in the Unreal content browser, … and then, drag and drop our .sbsar file onto it. … Once the Imports options appear, … let's make sure that the Create Material option is enabled, … and then, click Import. … This way, we will not need to create the material manually … and add all of the Substance maps to it, … which can save us quite a bit of time. … As before, let's left-click and drag the material … into our level, … and then, double-click the Substance file … so as to gain access to its controls. … Here we see all of the controls …
