Speed up workflows with project templates
- [Instructor] Hi, I'm George Maestri. Today we're going to look at how to create your own templates for Unreal. Now, when you start up Unreal Engine, you get this window. And this allows you to open any previously-opened projects or create a new project. Now, when we create a new project, we can use what are called templates. So in this case, if I go over to, say, Blueprint, you have a number of templates here. We have some under C++, and so on. So let's say we wanted to create a third person project. So if I click on Third Person, it gives you this nice icon, and we can start up. So let's go ahead and create a new project in our Exercise Files folder, and I'm going to call that project My Template. And let's go ahead and create that. And once you create this new project, you'll get something that looks like this. Now, if I was doing my own third person, a lot of this stuff is kind of extraneous. It's stuff I really…
