- [Instructor] What is a prefab variant? It is very similar to an instance of a prefab, but now you'll have access to it to be added in your scene much like the original prefab. For example, let's say we were building a library where it contains hundreds of books. It might be more manageable to build several different versions of books as prefabs and use them throughout our scene. This is where prefab variants might be handy. Let me show you how you create one. So, let's say for example, we are going to create a variant from the burrito book. So, let's go ahead and click on that one and simply drag and drop it inside of project. And right now, what it's going to suggest, is keep the original prefab or do you want to create a variant? And this is what we're going to do. We're going to create a variant. So, now you have this prefab variant that you can create new copies inside of your scene. But before we do that, we want…
