Pose-to-pose wipes

- [Instructor] This movie will be of most use to animators who work in traditional styles, or who work with public based systems. Anyone who is able to create the animation frames by drawing them. If you're working in CGI I'm not sure if this is useful to you, but you still might find it interesting. It can be pretty tedious to work a character from one pose to another, especially when that pose is really different. And if you've ever tried to twist a 2-D puppet into a different pose you know what torture that can be. So while some of the time, we can do this the hard way, there was a cheat that can in some instances be used. So as we can see this is a snappy way of moving your character around. So I've got three key poses here, and I'm using this technique called the wipe. It's a smear. And it moves the character from one pose to the other. So lets take a closer look at these frames.
