- [Instructor] Hi, I'm (mumbles) In Unreal four by two five they've done a lot of work with translucency. So let's create some translucent materials so you can see how this works. Now I have a simple sphere in a simple world, and let's go ahead and create a material and create some translucencies. I'm going to go into my temp folder, "Right Click" and do material. And let's just name that translucent. And so when we create a translucent material, there's a couple of little tricks that you need to know. Now, if you've created translucent surfaces before you'll realize there's a couple of things you have to do. So I'm going to select this material node and then under blend mode, instead of opaque, I'm going to do translucent. Now what this does is it opens up opacity. So that way we can make it semi-transparent or fully transparent, however we want. And then for the shading model, we've got a new shading model here that…
