Photoshop blend modes in materials
- [Instructor] This week, we're going to look at Photoshop Blend Modes in Unreal. Now, if you're familiar with Photoshop, you'll know that it has some really great ways to combine images, and these are called Blend Modes, and they're just basically different algorithms that combine two images in different ways. Now, if you're not familiar with them, let me just hop over to Photoshop and I'll show you how they work. So, here I have two images layered, so, I have this pattern over a color. Now, here in our Layers menu, we can do a couple things, I can just fade out the opacity of that. So, if I wanted to, I could basically fade the pattern out. Or, I can blend that pattern using any number of Blend Modes. So, for example, when I select Darken, it gives me this effect. Select Lighten, it gives me this effect. So, basically it's lightening the darker colors. We also have a bunch of other ones. So, we have, for example…
