So we've built our system to instance geometry to particles using our TouchOSC data that's coming in to generate SOP particles that are converted to chops that are then driving instances. If I press play here we can check everything out as working. Awesome, we've got our particle system rocking out in here. This is a great way to create geometry instance particles, but there's other ways of generating particles that we're going to take a look at. Mainly the GPU particles component that ships with TouchDesigner. Because one of the limitations of this system is that we can only get up to a certain particle count before our performance really starts lagging. So let me open the Browser Palette here. And so, what we're going to do is under Tools, we scroll down, we can see that there is a particles GPU kind of default component, that we can choose from and add into our scene.
