Opposing action in walks

- [Instructor] A great example of opposing action is in walks and runs, when the right arm moves forward, the right leg is moving backwards and vice versa. In this mummy animation from my monsters course, which is also in the library, you can see a nice example of opposing action right at the start, you see the arrows. This also helps to accentuate the anticipation into the walk. Sometimes I like to color or shade my thumbnails, especially when I'm designing walks, because sometimes it can be really confusing to see which arm is moving which direction. Your brain can trick you into thinking the left arm is the right arm, and I like coloring them blue and green because it keeps them separate. That way I can control the opposing action. And of course, our wizard has some really nice examples of opposing action on his very quick turns. Even on a very short scene like this opposing actions will pop up all over the place. Always…
