- [Instructor] Before you begin to animate in the style of a period, always check the technology of the time. And you don't have to go too detailed. But find out what the frame rate was and did they animate on ones or twos. And were they on 24 or 30. This kind of thing. So in the period we're looking at, definitely they were on 24 frames per second. 30 doesn't come along until video. And you know, much later. So they're on 24. And more importantly for much of the scenes that you'll be doing there on twos, they animated and then they did another drawing exposure for another frame for an effective frame rate of 12 frames per second. Unless they did something fast and violent, in which case they were on ones. So, if someone is standing there talking, blinking, looking at the camera going na na na, they're probably on twos. If they're being hit by a hammer, if they're running really fast, doing whatever, they're on ones. I promise you. So you're on ones or you're on twos. And you're on 24…
